Allocations across “Silver Building” ini amongst this much loved place, an example of true brutalist architecture at its best!
The Silver BuIlding was the ex-Carlsberg Tetley Brewery, c1964 designed by Munce and Kennedy. An example of powerful engineering and how a re-purposing, re-hab project can and should help to supply SME’s with affordable spaces and events areas, studios and a business hub.
Beazea worked to GLA guildines to gauge all accessable areas for a comprehensive ( V.1 Imperial ) IPMS Site Survey Report created in c.2019, as required for Lease Renewal. This was later adapted into an A3 ( V.2 Metric ) Document for Landlord; Keystone Company ( CH ) in 2024. Working with Silvertown Homes LTD for the CIL, via Newham Council, Aurora ( Oslo+Stockholm ), Aecom and DP9 as this large untouched plot tries to become “Thames Wharf” via a lenghty planning design process and its possible, imminent demolition for new development.
